What good is it if it jam's ever other round and has no power.
    :dunno:
    What?
My suppressors work better on bolt actions, or even a lever/pump action.
But, they still work on semi autos.
And I've not seen a jam.
Not sure why it would affect the power, unless it's because less power with subsonic ammo.
And a subsonic round will still ruin someone's day.

I went several years without buying one, but recently caved. Paying an additional $200 tax and having to wait for approval on a hearing safety device is something I’ll never quite understand…

Although, my 11.5” 5.56 rifle shooting supers through a K can isn’t necessary going to be movie quiet either haha

    Thanks Hollywood.

I almost jumped off topic, slightly. Suppressors(silencers) should be taken off. In my opinion, there is not much difference between putting a suppressor on a firearm and removing and/or attaching a muffler to a vehicle. Both deadly devices in the wrong hands and both can be made to be quiet or loud.

Can you imagine what a can would cost if they were deregulated / untaxed and every machine shop could be turning them out?

I wouldn't be surprised to see a basic disposable "muffler" for a 22LR in the $50 dollar range.
