SA 1911 ronin operator

I have a colt 1911 but don't consider myself a 1911 guy.

As of a couple weeks ago i got a strong hankering for a 9mm 1911. Then I was watching American Rifleman and they show cased a SA. I fondled this pistol and my hankering turned into a burning desire.

Any reason not to get this fine piece?

I would have no qualms whatsoever about buying an SA 1911. Mine have been fantastic, as well as those belonging to friends and relatives. They make good guns.

I was looking for a 10mm Ronin but if I happen to come across a 45acp version I'd buy it. They look amazing. I did handle a 9mm version. But imo a 1911 should be 45acp or bigger like a 10mm. Just my opinion. I've got plenty of 9mm pistols already.

I caught myself on the very edge of pulling out the wallet for one of these in 10mm.

I somehow found the self control to walk away and even got to the point where I had not thought about it for a few days.

I think there was a 9 mm Commander Ronin in the classifieds last week. My memory is a little fuzzy though.

I thought about it for a minute, but I'm done buying so I moved on.

Definitely, i've seen some nice guns that were either NWI or SW that were just too far to make it worth it.
