Put some round through the 469 again today.
When I grabbed up the 469 I realized I'd never put the new grips on it I ordered & electrical tape was still holding on the broken grips, duh! :wallbash:
Its POI is about 3-4 inches low of POA, which seems to be par for the course for the 3rd Gen pistols in my hands. :fogey:
If I raise up the bottom of the front sight to line up with the rear sight, it is spot on. :dunno:

    1st & 2nd row were the 469.
    Ignore the last row.
Upper left was POA at center, but POI low.
I learned to raise the POA with the front sight bringing the POI where desired.
    Range 5.11.2022 $69 21ft x4 circles.jpg

The "edit" button isn't available in my post above, 4:55 pm yesterday.
I've noticed that the "edit" button disappears rather quickly sometimes?
I just realized I labelled the SW 469 wrongly.
It is not SW 4659 as listed. :ugh:
It is & always has been, the 469, haha! :dunno:

Only have these three S&Ws presently: 625-4 (Trausch grips); 4586 LEA trade-in from Idaho; 640-1 .357.
The 4586 is the easiest DAO semiauto to learn to shoot well with that I've ever owned. Accurate, ultra-reliable and built like a bank vault. Wouldn't swap it for diamonds

I like them all, but that 4586 would look very nice in my safe. Nice collection.

@ the corner of IN, KY & OH.
That wounded officer stayed in the fight and put 2 "F@$K You" shots into the shooter, then walked into the station. :patriot: That was a crazy gun fight. Dude got his hands back in front of him. He seemed like a good sized guy, i would have never would have figured he could do that, but obviously he could and you should never take that for granted.

Any of you S&W 3rd gen owners want a carbine in 9mm that takes the same mags?

    Uses model 59 series mags.

And if you need a 30 round mag:

$20, but not a S&W mag. Should fit 59 series guns plus the Camp 9.

If solid, that's a great price. If I didn't already have a couple, I'd be on my way there now. There's a couple nice pieces at that shop. I'd never been in there or even knew they existed. Thanks for sharing.

If you stop in the guns aren't on display. They will bring what you want to look at out. You can browse the inventory online from a computer they have set up. Keeps the fondlers and lookie Lou's away.

I've done a couple of transfers there and liked the folks I dealt with.

    I have serious doubts.

Noble Sniper has a couple nicely priced thirds gens in the classies….
I have a Camp 9, nice guns but not a match. Maybe @2A_Tom would be interested, he's got the Camp 45.

Edit: The Camp .45 takes standard 1911 single stack mags.

500 is rock bottom prices for 2 fine 45 3rd gens. If I didn't already have a 4586 Id snatch it up along with the 4516. But alas due to my ongoing divorce have to wait till March 2024 to resume my collecting.

I had the first .40 when they came out, but sold it and replaced with a 6906 which was my friend for many years. One thing both of them did was shoot extremely low, but consistent so a big of windage and I was on target. Ended up going the striker fired route. but would pick up a 6906, or a 10mm/45 acp. if the price was right.

I probably already posted, who knows.
Started with a Fresno PD turn in 59, then got a 39,639,5903 only one left my son has, 5906 and who can ever forget the brick a 659 or something boy was it bad!
Then came Glock and the rest is history at my house except for my Colts and GI .45 collection and a lone Sig 226.
