I picked up a 915 from another member back in june could not pass it up . The first 9mm I shot was a model 39 back when I was just a kid . It took years before I could get one and after 10yrs of owning it I traded it . that was a mistake !

New mag springs inbound for 3 of the 4006 mags. That should set that gun up nicely. I’d ordered mags a while back but when they came in, I could tell the springs were tired and the first range trip with them confirmed it. Took me this long to get off my butt to do something about it. Looking forward to shooting that gun a bit more this year.

And after relooking at the mag it is for a CS45. The last GB completed auction for a CS45 mag was 44.95 plus 8.50 shipping. Not a bad score for having to stay across the border for a week.

I’d like a 39 or 3913. They always seemed like nice guns. I’ve had a few Smith autos over the years, mostly 45 and 10mm but a couple 9s too. I really wish I had the 10s back. I had a Nickel 469 when they first came out and it was a nice gun. Smiths always had such sweet triggers.

So further clarification on my mag. The more knowledgeable folks on the S&W forum pointed out it is for an early 4513 pre rail with grip cut. The last to sell was for 55 plus tax.

I'll be adding that 4586 that popped up today to my collection soon. Luckily its not a far drive to get this one like some of the others I got from off here.

Hah, I once drove to Toledo, hopped a flight to Portland, rented a car and drove down to Sacramento two hours after winning a bid on ebay just to get something I wanted. Wasn't a gun tho. And didn't want to risk shipping it.

I need to slow down and read the ads more carefully. I saw the Ruger .41 but didn't read all the way down to the 4586. Nice snag! I shopped pretty hard for one a few years ago and watched for nearly a year before finding one on GB for less than the going average or $400+. Finally picked one up for $300 with a couple of spare mags. Great deal even back then,.......but the DAO guns were unwanted back then. I was averaging at least one a month for a couple of years back then. Can't even find them now.
