Are you saying the Germans can't just print money like us?
Just got way worse than that for them(today 11/23/2023).
Now the unelected bureaucrat's did away with countries ability to veto them doing whatever they want with the EU(Partly because Germany vetoed banning coal altogether, and of course others vetoing sending money to Ukraine,or money for green energy...loads of things have been vetoed in the past as well)....EU is now 100% an unelected federalist government. Either countries leave it or even the elected Prime minister/presidents will just be peasants as well.
*side note countries in the EU can not print unlimited funds but their all powerful now fully in control unelected central state can...and will.

European Commission, give Eurocrats sole competency over several issues including the environment, education, and public health, and remove the need for unanimity among member states in key policy areas.

The Polish MEP called the move “a silent putsch with communist roots.”

Vice Chairman of the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) group Rob Roos, contrasted the vote on Wednesday with the Dutch election being held on the same day, posting on X: “Today the festival of democracy takes place in the Netherlands, but in Strasbourg our democracy is being buried.

“A European Parliament majority just voted for the abolition of the Netherlands’ veto in many areas. Vote for a party that defends our veto!” he added.

I don’t remember the exact number, but it seems I read a story about the average age of the u,rainian soldiers is much higher than normal due to their huge losses. If true, they will be forced to negotiate on their own sooner or later

    It's a mess over there.
I wouldn't be surprised if some kind of 4th Reich rises to power in Europe. Or some other totalitarian style government.

Blockade? I doubt it. I can see them sinking ships with submarines and daring anyone to do anything about it. A few rings up the escalation ladder, but I can see it, maybe. Other than us, the truth is there is no one in NATO. Who could effectively stop it. Europe is a caricature of their former selves.
