    Russia is just showing them that no one is coming to save them. Klutin would much rather take it without a big war, unlike our current gov., I really do believe he wants what is best for his county, and if he could do that without putting them through a big war it's better.

    We don't have iron (aircraft) stationed at Incirlik. 39th Air Base Wing would have a crap-load of two career fields: Nuke Pukes, and Security Forces with nukes in the bomb dump.

    Problem: Turkey bought Russian SAMs a few years ago.

    Problem: Turkey is a NATO country that has trained with US Forces for decades.

    Problem: Current National Command Authority in the US. Remember the Navy ships bound for the Black Sea, that turned around a couple weeks ago?

    Problem: Rooskies are in Syria

    Edit: Problem: Turkey is in the CENTCOM AOR, but administratively the 39th Air Base Wing reports to USAFE (US Air Forces in Europe) which is EUCOM. Read this as 4-star level urinating contest.

    Oh yeah, Australia has been beating the Taiwan drum and reporting all of China’s shenanigans in the region for months now. I know it’s hard to believe, what with our media being so trustworthy and all, them showing what’s goin on around the world...
