I'm seeing F-35, F-35 prototype similar intake, YF-23 vertical stabilizers (lost out to the F-22). Note the cover towards the lower rear (???) Twin engines, Ivan likes twin engines.

I guess the Chinese shared the 10TB of data that got hacked several years back.

Edit: "Checkmate" is (was??) an organization under HQ USAF/A3 (Operations). They did secret squirrel stuff, showed up at Desert Shield and General Horner basically asked them, "Who the hell are you?" (OPSEC Police: That was in the Tom Clancy book Every Man a Tiger.)

If the lessons from the Cold War are still relevant, whatever Russia says it will do will most likely be...optimistic compared to real world use. Not quite North Korea levels, in which case it would likely be inflatable...

Go back to pen and paper or at least load all software in the computers used for dev and the. Air gap. idc how much easier it is to use auto cad or the internet it’s not worth being farmed for research like we are now.

The US ought to buy a bunch of them. Bound to be 1/50th the price of the stuff we are getting and less cost to maintain.

The russkies often have great theoretical research and designs, but the transition to manufacturing leaves something to be desired. AKMs and ground vehicles are robust, but going up the technological scale things suffer.
