Went to rural king this morning for some stuff. They had just gotten in a Ruger 10-22...they were unboxing it-I asked how much; he said 239$. I thought they were more than that.
Asked him to please just box it back up. They even sold me 2 x Apulia @ 5.00 box.
    I'd say it's a good day!

That was a great deal. I just picked up a couple of these for the grandkids. I kept one for myself and have really enjoyed the 10-22.

I spoke to Ruger a couple weeks ago and they assured me that they’re building lots of guns every day. I was inquiring about a Charger Takedown (model 4935). A couple days after that, I found one in stock at Kentucky Gun Co. and grabbed it. I paid too much, yes… but I got it.

The 10-22 is the all american 22lr. Parts and accessories are everywhere and for $240 especially in today's market you made a good buy.

Congrats on your 10-22 score! I have several and am absolutely obsessed with plinking them.
Those ARs and handguns are just tools to me, but all the 10-22 variants take me back to my youth and I can share it with family and friends. The look on a young un's face when they hit that steel for the first time is priceless.
I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.
Not trying to be a killjoy, but if that Agulia ammo is that 20grain stuff that moves at sub 600ft/sec, it may have a bit of trouble operating that 10-22 action. If it does, and you're not too far from me, I'll hook ya up with a box of CCI Mini-mags...............it'll make that new dog bark, lol.
Again, congrats on your new Ruger!

It's just regular Agulia so we're good, but thanks for the offer.
It's all sighted in....hmmm....looking for something to do.
I'm going back to RK in the morning!

Yes to both. I keep thinking about buying a 17" Fedderson barrel for my mostly factory 10/22. It has a Brimstone trigger job and I'm getting ready to put a pillar in and cut the snout off the front of the stock just to make it look cooler and lose the barrel band. It's just hard to not go down that rabbit hole. ;)

Good call! I would've done the same thing. I too thought they had gotten more expensive. The mods and aftermarket support make these some really great rifles. They're pretty reliable out of the box too.

    Nice find OP
