Hi guys, Looking at buying a ROSSI LEVER GUN. Do any of you shoot a ROSSI LEVER ? Looking in particular at a 44mag rifle. I have read some reviews , but I would like to hear from people I trust. THANKS

    I have a Rossi m92 in .454 Casull.
Fantastic rifle. Very light weight and slim profile.
Shoots to point of aim and hits like a ton of bricks.
I also like that I can use hot .45Colt too.

The only drawback to the Rossi is, IIRC, they eject out the top, so they can't be scoped. If you're comfortable with irons only, then that won't be an issue.

I have a .357, and love it, seems to run everything I've loaded in it...Shot it at close range, but just plinking at cans, it hit where I aimed...

IMHO Rossi makes a pretty good lever gun. I had one in .44 mag, and liked it a lot.
I sold it, but only to get a take-down version Rossi doesn't make.
    I still have a Rossi in .357.
At the ranges you'll shoot a .44 mag or .357 mag, a magnified scope is probably not needed, so I went with a red dot.
It's much faster anyway for that quick snap shot, or if you need to use it as a defensive weapon.

    My old Rossi.
It was a 24" rifle I had AllenM cut down to 17".
I wanted a short carbine, but with the heavy octagon barrel.

I'm not really shopping right now, but this unique combo in the classifieds keeps grabbing my attention. Anyone familiar?
