Guys I'm looking for a 2 mag pouch that I can carry at the 7 or 8 o'clock position on a 1.5" belt, with good retention and yet quick to pull out when needed.

Something like this but I'd like INGO recommendations.

Also is this a good one? I have their holster love it. I can get this to match, but I'd rather make sure I have something to hold the magazines securely and still able to get them out quickly.

If you have other brands or types post them.

I recently picked up this one. It’s from Relentless Tactical and it carries well. The clips can be tight with a Biobelt but that’s about the only issue I’ve had

I found these on Dawson Precision site. I take it they use these in competition? Are they good?

I do run these on my competition belt my Mags are 5.25 inch long ( extended mag base ) and the mag is holding 3.25 inch of the mag. I really like that because you have a lot to get ahold for a fast reload.
But I use simply rugged leather mag pouch for my officer model because it’s leather and very nice. But only for single mag.

I've been studying this and found that many say get a couple single mag pouches because you can position them easier and put them where you want and adjust as needed. So do you feel it wise to go with a few single mag pouch over a double?

I think for carrying single is better they hold tighter to your body and the other reason I like the simply rugged is they are vertical and my officer mag stick out about 1.50 inch so I get ahold of them fast.
So that was the long way around as just saying yes I think two single are better.
I have only used simply rugged products i am sure others are out there that are maybe better.

    Update:
I bought the 1791 gun leather magazine pouch and love it.

I forgot to update that my niece's future husband fired 150rds 10mm when they visited me. 180FN Hoosier bullets. 7.2gr AutoComp 1158fps avg 535 ft lb of energy at 15' From muzzle

    Edit:
    New rd count is 790.

Still running good and no problems yet.

I did change grips to something better looking. Will test to see if I like them better while shooting it.

I forgot to add that my son and I shot 200rds of 200gr WFNGC Double Tap through it 1258fps.
    And 70 155gr XTP 10.3 800x at 1574fps.

So it's at 1060 rds of 10mm ammunition so far. The lightest load was Remington 180gr FMJ. They were the lightest load and I did not chrony them. I do not think they were making 1100 fps though. The S&B cycled fine but the accuracy was horrible. It might be fine for your firearm but my RIA 10mm did not like it at all.

I’ve had one for years don’t shoot it much but I am a 1911 whore and also a 10 mm whore so what can go wrong it’s a really good gun for the price I wish somebody would make a officers model in 10 mm that would be my every day carry

My son came to visit for Christmas and we done a little shooting. He wanted to try the 10mm out and we put another 100rds of 180gr Hoosier Bullets FN through it.

Brings the round count to 1160. It's been flawless other than the hiccups starting off.

It's given me confidence to carry it as my edc. I'll continue to give updates as I put more rds through it.

    $530 if you're interested in getting a decent 10mm 1911.

Got mine out if the safe, cleaned it up, and lubed it yesterday, and decided to take some 5000 grit wet/dry sandpaper to the parts that I seen the most wear on.

After sanding everything I tested the slide it was slick. More so than it ever was.

I'm excited to see how it runs on the range

@DadSmith are you still running and liking your 1791 BH1 holster? I had just about decided on a leather 1911 holster but now am thinking 1791 should be considered... but in black.

I've had my Rock island armory full size tactical model for 12 years.

I put 6000rds of .45 through it before having some fail to feeds. Replaced the recoil spring and I've got another 2000 rounds through it with no issues. Still as accurate as the day I bought it.

They make a really good 1911 for the price IMO. I've heard they have amazing customer service as well but I've never had to use it.
