The shore of wonderful Lake Michigan
Another excellent carbine class put on by the RR crew. I think this is the best value for your training dollar you can find. This was only a 1 day class, but we covered a lot of (snow covered) ground in that time.

Good to hear. I tried pretty much everything to try to get off work to take this, but we are short on manpower and couldn't make it happen. Hopefully another one is added I can actually get to.

Yeah. Well done Nigel, TJ, Matt and Slim. A safe line, some great drills and you adapted well to the weather on hand! Big ole HUZZAH!!

I had several 'take aways'. My winter zoot suit is probably over kill for days where it gets above freezing by mid-day. When running my M1 Carbine, the magazines go on the opposite side of my belt and if I'm going to run my M1 Carbine, I should practice magazine changes. I also learned that a 100 yard steel ping at 1500fps is much quieter than a 2800fps. And finally, the timer keeps running until I stop shooting, stop after my two hits!
