Still some room left and three weeks to round up your gear.
Don’t miss out on this one.

    Twist my arm. I'm in.

My set up has changed completely since I did this one a couple of years ago. It will be fun to try a couple of different configurations. I will likely give the 12.5" BCM pistol some run this time around.

Don't sleep on this class folks. This instruction would be a value at double or triple the price. At just $100, you more than make up for the higher cost of ammo. Way too many spots left open.

Now that it’s under two weeks away, I just signed up.

I’m not liking the current temps and hope it gets warmer by then, or you can expect much whining. Knowing Nigel will be there to provide friction heat is encouraging.

This will go on rain, shine, snow, freezing cold....u name it.
Come test yourself and your gear now so you know it works.
I suspect there will be some ah ha moments for some folks. If you need four extra layers of clothing to keep warm, will your gear still fit? Can you access it ? How about off hand?
It will be fun, challenging and hopefully enough physical exertion to keep everyone warm!

The answer is in post #31 above ...
I think the right answer is "If you all need me here that badly, perhaps I need one of those merit raises!"

Don't forget to SLOW DOWN AND SQUEEZE that trigger when your targets are further away!
I seem to keep that trigger-slap mentality when moving between under 50yds to over 100yds

(what can I say, sometimes I'm a slow learner)

Jim, There will be plenty of slap and some squeeze. Hope you can make it but understand the whole work thing. You certainly have the longer range stuff down! You really should to do the cqb stuff... you know you deserve it.

    Mmmm, slaps AND squeezes... :grabass:

You better settle down -- I've been excited about this since December!
It's always difficult for us Yanks (Northern & American) to find a place to practice movement, so I'm heartbroken about it. I'm sure these folks are going to have a great time.

You all have opened my eyes to the advantages yielded by & dedication required for keeping your skills sharp and ready to go. From the 4 basics of effective marksmanship, through malfunctions & movement/cover. Actively exercising ALL of those skills without conscious thought allows you to stay grounded in the moment.

If I could convince just 2 new shooters to come and practice their craft...
