    If you don't care to hear what Dometic has to say give this guy a try.

    In addition to numerous independents up around this part of the state willing to work on your RV ammonia fridge, the Amish also have them. Mention that cause Berne is a bit further south if that's better for you.

    Great Grandma had an old Serval (before Dometic) in the house for years, today that thang would be worth it's weight in gold to the Amish and believe me when I say that thang weighed....

    I would call an RV tech. Not necessarley at a dealership but an independent shop that does work on RV's. Jim.

    Another RV appliance tech that always had a good rep in Elkhart.


    With that said, I haven't had interaction with either of the businesses I've mentioned in over 20 years, they may not even be ran by the same people today.
