Revere's Riders and CIHPRS (Central Indiana High Power Rifle Shooters) are sponsoring NRA High Power Rifle "Across the Course" introductory matches in April and May. These matches will be at Camp Atterbury, the home of CIHPRS as well as the NRA National Rifle Matches, and are designed to introduce anyone who has been considering getting involved with the rifle shooting sports a chance to "dip their toe" in the waters.

The COF will be the usual NRA "Across the Course" and experienced CIHPRS members will be available to coach newcomers on anything from optimizing their shooting position to approximate come-ups on their scopes. This will not be a "hard core" match, but a chance for those to shoot their first NRA High Power Rifle match with as little pressure as possible along with assistance from top notch rifle marksmen should they need it.

Shooting will be done on the MILITARY side of Camp Atterbury on the same ranges used for the NRA National Rifle Matches. Targets will be CIHPRS electronic targets which can display each of your shots in real time to your handheld and WiFi enabled device right at your shooting position! The electronic targets do require that your bullet is supersonic at the target in order to correctly register your hit; make sure whatever load you bring, it is supersonic at 600+ yards.

More information is available on both the Revere's Riders and CIHPRS websites:
