I have a new manufacture CZ 83 (I bought it used). It's developed a problem where the trigger does not always catch the trigger bar on double action mode, and just flops around loose. Always works in single action mode.

I suspect that the trigger spring may be the problem, but I'm not sure that this is a repair I would want to undertake myself.

Does anyone know of a smith in the Indy area that would be good with this repair?

I don't know any smiths in the Indy area to recommend but I do know that CZ-USA's customer service is top notch. You might want to give them a call.

Thanks, it's worth a shot. I presumed that their warranty was for original owners, but I'll see. I don't mind paying for the repair, but shipping back and forth will run about $160.
