I watched a YouTube video once where a guy was working at the bench in his reloading/gun shed. Then he swung open a half door located above the bench, revealing a downrange view of his personal shooting range. How awesome would that be? Every time I do load development work, I have to drive 40 miles to the nearest range to test the results.

    That's an excellent idea.

Very nice reloading rooms guys. I want to build a 8x12 shed with heat, AC, and insulation. Then turn it into a reloading shed. I've been wanting to do this for a long time. Hopefully someday I'll get it done.
Like every build if you think it is big enough you better go bigger!!!!!! Speaking from experience

I have posted some pics of my reloading room before, but I did a little remodeling and here is an update.
The cart with the presses is on wheels and can be moved wherever I need it.
The second safe, in the wall, is for "non-essential" stuff I just want to keep safe.
I'm happy with this set-up, for now, anyway.

Here’s a few pics of my Star Universals. The one on the left is dedicated to 9 mm, the one in the middle is currently set up for 22 TCM but I can load almost any pistol cartridge on it with three tool heads (one being modified to use 7/8” dies), and finally on the right is my Super Star .223 machine. I also have a Dillon 1050 and a 650XL but they’re no where as cool as the Stars!!

It's a bit of a mess but you get the idea. Under the mess is 2 layers of 3/4" plywood with a 1x3 edge. Painted the bench black then spread a candy apple flake epoxy and used a notched trowel to give it swirls. Epoxy makes the surface hard and chemical proof, then added a single T-track about 8" into the bench. The Dillon is mounted on two T-tracks for adjustments, Computer is at the end and is were I broadcast and am a member of "The Reloading Podcast" Tuesday nights at 8:05 PM Eastern time. Going to change the flooring out soon, but have a new build to work on. Solus action, in 6GT and 22GT Timney Trigger, Not sure which stock or Chassis system yet. Any one loading 6GT or 22GT need some loads.

WOW Guys great reloading rooms makes me what to get my area straightened up and rearranged..Now that I am reloading more and not fur trapping.. The trapping supplies will get moved to another area and give me 6 or 7 feet of extra bench top space..

After looking at some of the reloading rooms on here, I just wanted to add mine to the collection. Great reloading rooms everyone!

About 7 years ago I purchased a house on 10 acres I'm currently living in with the intention of building my own range & reloading room. I've been shooting competitively & reloading for 20+ years. I've belonged to many clubs over the years, but wanted to have the convenience of shooting/practicing at home vs. travelling so often to various clubs to shoot. The house we bought had a 26x26 room attached to one end of the house that was used as a horse barn that the previous owners built for their show horse. I know, very weird & unusual. When we first looked at the house, I knew this horse barn would eventually become my reloading room. In previous houses I've always used the typical corner of a basement or an extra bedroom as my reloading room. After moving into our current forever home, I wanted to build the my ultimate gunroom/mancave.

Shorty after being in the house about a year, I started renovations for my reloading room. Basically started with gutting room down to the studs, moved a couple walls around to add a saferoom & bathroom. Since the concrete floor in the horse stall was pitched to promote drainage & to add plumbing for a bathroom, I had to pour concrete in about 50% of the room. For finishes I ended up with a slate floor, custom kitchen cabinets, cooper penny accent wall behind my desk area, butcher block countertops with built in shooting bench, locally sourced barn wood repurposed for some of the walls, trim & doors. I had no real plans or vision when I started this project, other than I wanted a nice reloading room. I did some of the work myself & contracted out what I couldn't. I probably changed my mind a 100 times throughout the process trying to decide about the layout & finishes. I definitely went overboard (just ask my wife) & I went over budget by a significant amount. It was a lot of work. I would have never dreamed how it turned out, but I love it! Great place to spend a rainy day shooting from indoors.

Some of the tools & equipment on the bench are: Dillon 650 w/ Double Alpha bullet feeder, Area 419 Zero press, MEC 9000 series shotgun press w/ autodrive, Henderson case trimmer, Primal Rights primer seater, AMP Mark II Annealer, Autotrickler v4 powder dispenser. Everything is on the Inline Fabrication quick change press mounts so I can move tools accordingly to what I'm doing at the time. I mostly shoot pistol (USPSA) & sporting clays. I load thousands of pistol & shotgun rounds every year. But have been getting into precision rifle reloading lately. I really enjoy the load development process for rifle.

From my indoor shooting bench I have a 50 meter berm on the left & 100 yard berm on the right. This is awesome to test ammo. Literally load some test rounds, turn around & shoot em out the door. Also, behind the house I have a 200 yard range, sporting clays area with throwers & a huge pistol bay. I have actually had several USPSA matches at my house before.

The whole project was a lot of fun & the reloading room is always evolving. I got really lucky in finding the perfect canvas to build the ultimate reloading room & my range on.

Here's a picture of the horse inside my reloading room from when the previous owners lived in our house. LOL

That is a dream reloading/handloading room! Love the bench rest set up to test loads. Only thing is you have to stand to load, me I'm just too old to do that for a long time. One question what custom rifle are you shooting in that picture of the shooting bench?
