Do you have to have reloading equipment to have a reloading room? Wife gave me permission to have a dedicated ‘gun room’, but I can’t find any presses. Lol.

What press are you looking for?

Somehow a new stool in the reloading room cascaded over the past month to replacing the computer desk with a workbench and adding two new presses, currently waiting on mounting hdwe to arrive next week. The waiting has been the hardest part....

CJ, all online sources are out of stock that I've looked at. Only places I find equipment is at ebay and amazon. Expect to pay high dollar.
In 1990 I bought the Lee Anniversary kit with 38spl dies for $85 shipped. A couple of months later I got a coupon, buy the ABC's Reloading book for regular price and get a C frame press free. That was $20 shipped. Looking today at Mark's best deals on amazon the kit is $299, the C frame is $90 and the book is $21.

Have purchased and received multiple new presses online between Oct and Dec at less than suggested retail, they are out there. Many of the big names in reloading supplies offer inventory notifications, that'd be a good place to start.

I may have posted this before, can’t recall. I reload 5 gauges of shotgun, two handgun, and 4 rifle. I own 6 different MEC shotshell presses and two metallic cartridge. I’d hate to add up the street value, let alone the retail, of all of the presses, scales, dies, tumblers, etc. that I’ve accumulated over the years. One of the two benches was made by my father 60 years ago. The Dillon 650 (not shown) has been covered up and unused for over a year. I looked in a couple of cabinets and took a quick visual inventory of reloading components. What I found was shocking and a little scary. Especially the smokeless powder supply - since most of it is in my attached two car garage. Based on current street prices of 9mm I may start to consider adding to my retirement accounts thru conversion to cash.

Here is a pic of mine. Not much but its enough for me. Its in a lockable unused office at my company. Soon to be my sons company. When I'm bored I go in and piddle around. Or if the wife is in a mood I retreat there. It's just a mile from home.

I still need to tweak things a bit but I assembled all of this today. Moving is a PITA but now that I'm retired I can move again whenever I want, not whenever Uncle Sam says to.

    Thanks,Dinny
