For what it's worth, the rocky mountain reloading (RMR) 69 grain .224 match projectiles fly super nice..... the price of Hornady, the performance of Seria ....

RMR is possibly the match projectiles to use on your short course (say 300 yards and under)
    That's good to know thanks.

Their 124 gr 9 mm MPR (multi-purpose round - actually JHP) is inexpensive and seems to have better expansion that Montana Gold, though MG may be JHP more for accuracy than expansion.

I bought 2000 of them and loaded them up as a SHTF expanding bullet. Price wasn't too bad when compared to their other FMJ or plated bullet options. Worse comes to worse I'll just shoot them as plinkers too.

Their website states they get better expansion at 1150fps or higher I believe. I was getting about 1200 fps out of a G17. I'm using 4.6gr of Titegroup which is about .5gr over max.

MidwayUSA has several caliber bullets on sale and free shipping over $49. I picked up some Speer 22 & Sierra 9mm:

Thanks for the tip. I grabbed some Berger 22 cal target bullets. Also found a sale on a couple of holsters.
