Good evening fellas. Could anyone point me in the right direction about how to obtain a receipt for a purchased firearm after gun shop it was purchased from has closed for business?

No way that I know of short of findig/contacting former onwers.

What particular reason are you wanting a receipt for?

Depending on why you want it, you may be able to establish proof of a sale through your credit card company. The same applies if you wrote a check.

My guess is if you paid cash you’re pretty much gonna be out of luck.

Thank you. I did use a debit card so I’ll check with the bank to try & pinpoint the transaction. Much appreciated.
