    I'm sure that won't affect the zero
    I'm sure it won't effect it enough for any of them to notice it.

    I'd be legitimately surprised if they're even zeroed past 25 yards, if not even zeroed at all.

    When I went into basic I had shot a lot of open sight rifles before but never had peep sights so when I zeroed my M16A1 I decided to do it with the tip of the front post right at the bottom of the peep like I was used to with conventional open sights.
    It worked for me, I qualified expert, second highest score in the company.

    It's an aimpoint comp M4.

    I checked in with some folks regarding reasons for this happening and apparently some racks the army uses are from the m1 garand days. To place an M4 in them you must remove the optic, and to keep the optic with the rifle they typically attach it under the fore-end.
    The look I see from her is "WTAF" is that and how do I use it
