I just got a Diamondback DB-15, I’m wanting to know what a decent red dot would be that won’t break the back. I also have a Mosin-Nagant 9130 with a no drill scope mount. What is a decent scope that will work well with that gun? I’ve included the picture of the Mosin without the mount. Thank you for the time!

For $150 you will be very happy with the Romeo 5. It isn't a duty quality optic, but it is very solid for the price point.
    This.

I have both the Sig Romeo 5 and the Vortex Strikefire II. I prefer the Sig, plus the footprint is smaller. The Vortex is OK, just really bulky for what it is. I got it because I thought I might like the green dot better than red and I wanted the option to have both, but I use the red dot much more regularly.

Vortex Crossfire Red-dot. I have 3 of them and they are fantastic. Small, light-weight and durable. Seen some really good reviews online which pushed me to get one and I have never looked back.

Holosun and definitely the Romeo 5. I’ve owned 5 of them, each one has been quality. If you are looking for a buy once, cry once optic, it’s hard to beat AIMPOINT PRO’s $350-425.

I'll agree the Sig romeo 5 is great for the money. I would also recommend a Bushnell TRS25. Have those on 2 ARs (223 and 450 bushmaster) as well as on a 45cal pcc. Zero issues on any of them. Does the job for under $100
