    Do they use an entire 3000psi charge to propel the pellet or is the on board tank using the high pressure as a way of storing volume in a small tank

    I'm not that old but that was my first thought also.
    I am that old and thought the same thing.
    Remember the Sunoco pumps from the day.
    Maybe 6 selections the top being 260 grade and it was bright red and brought tears to your eyes. Cam 2 right out of the pump.
    Golden Imperial had "Super Ethyl" and it had some balls as well.
