I decided to buy a 1-6 this morning to play with.

This was a fantastic review. I've owned a few AR's over the years but have never grown accustomed to any particular type of optic. I decided I want an optic that covered a broader spectrum of uses. So, I purchased the Vortex 1-4. I want a "jack of all trades" optic as opposed to a "master of one". Just my opinion.

On a different but related note; I purchased an Alamo Four Star-DLOC-M4x 30MM mount for my Viper. This thing screams quality. If I get motivated maybe I'll make it my first review.
