Just 18 mo ago Cabelas had them for $55 a brick, then $65, then $85, now $99.99? I think my primer cache has made more than my 401k...

Not so sure about this. Maybe it's just bad luck, but I've seen SPPs several times in the last three weeks - once for $75 per thousand face to face with 4000 available

But I'm looking for LRPs, so of course I haven't seen any at all

We have been getting small pistol and small rifle every month, lots of them. We have both on the shelf now. Large rifle have been the most difficult to get, haven't seen any in over 6 months. Large pistol we have only had in stock for 1 day out of the last 6 months.

Took a road trip to the Toledo area yesterday

Fin feather fur in rossburg has no limits on primers! All the names & sizes you want available, average price was about $90/1K.
Not much in the was of powder.

Bass pro & Cabelas nothing in the way of primers (no signage either about primers) but lots a 8 pounders of powder

Could I inquire where you found LRP and how much you paid. Been looking for them at a price that isn't highway robbery

I just use small rifle primers for small pistol. I've done so for a few decades, I've never had a problem with them going bang even in my striker fired pistols.

My apologies. I misunderstood your post to indicate you had LRP on the way

I'll let you know if I see any, but the way my luck has worked in the last year is I saw LRP when I was hunting for SPP, and now that it is LRP that I want I'm seeing SPP
