A common response on this thread and other like threads is "how does it shoot"?

I really don't care what a rifle looks like, I just want to know how it shoots.

I think it should be mandatory to post a image of a 300, 500 and 600 yard paper target for each rifle image. Say 10 shots at each distance.

Here's mine for all 3 distances.

How does it shoot? How does it shoot from a sitting position or is it a prone only rifle? It looks like it might be kind of heavy...?

Believe it or not sir, even an iron sighted AR is capable of excellent accuracy out to 500 yards. As is the M1 and M1A type rifle and many other inexpensive mil-surp rifles.

It is called the "riflemans quarter mile". It is a standard of accuracy that many aspire to.

    To answer the questions:

I built it, but haven't had chance to shoot it yet. :-(
As heavy as it is, I would guess that it won't kick any more than my Remington Sendero .300 win mag.
I bought some official Lapua ammo for it, and some official Lapua brass, and will be reloading it when I get all the stuff.

The detachable box mag came with the rifle.

This setup does have some weight to it, so I will likely shoot it from prone or bench mostly, but do have the option with the sling to attempt the other positions.
