    If you wanted one just for the idea of having one then get one. If you want to spend that kind of coin for a defense pistol you will trust your life on. Much better options for a lot less cash

    I had a new production PPk/s until recently, only issue is it's to nice of a gun for EDC, IMHO.
    I also have a old PPK, 1943 vintage in 32acp, been refinished, so no collector value to speak of, but a very nice shooter

    I had a PPK/S (which isn't exactly a PPK) some years ago.
    It was a nice pistol, but didn't work for me because the hammer "bit" me when I fired it no matter how I held it.
    So I sold it.
