I wonder how many of these ***holes also voted to take your money by force and send arms to Ukraine....while voting to infringe upon your natural right.

Each of these ***holes can go straight to Hell.

Why is a definition of terrorism included in the section titled "engaged in the business" in a document that gives a metric ****-ton of money to the same government entity that called parents who question school boards domestic terrorists?

Because terrorism is very loosely defined, because that gives them legal grounds to deny due process, because they suck.

If they push this through this week, it's just because they don't want to give proper time to analyze the outcomes.

I didn't think I was reading this wrong. There's more stuff that is already illegal in there. I guess it will be illegaler now.

Yes, and it'll be extra efficient when the ATF blatantly neglects their own policy. We should all applaud this stunning and brave display by these legislators.

@jwamplerusa Thank you for sharing the office number. Left him a voicemail and email.
The Indiana GOP email address is info@indgop.org

Let them know what you think of Senator Young.

As for me, I asked that they evict him from the Party, remove all financial or other support, and use the money saved to sue him, to prevent a claim of party affiliation.

The national level party received a similar form of direction.

I just finished an original email to Todd Young stating my displeasure with his support for this bill. I sent three other canned letters yesterday (NRA, GOA, FPC). Words can't explain how much this angers me. I had a hard time not coming unglued. I kept it professional - but I left no doubt on where I stand. I feel completely betrayed.
I'll hopefully have a draft of an "uncanned" email to go to our senior Senator tonight. Last PM it was hard enough reading all that ****.

    Quote from our boy young…

If a conservative backlash to the bill is brewing, he said, it wasn’t reflected in his constituent feedback.

“The calls are about 10-to-1 in my office — 10 in favor of reasonable prohibitions” on allowing dangerous people to have access to firearms, he said. “For me, it’s just listening to my constituents and being responsive, and occasionally government actually needs to do that — to be responsive.”

ETA: he went on to say that his vote on the final bill is not guaranteed; how can that be if the calls coming in are truly 10-1?
Also, the “occasionally the gov needs to be responsive”, who do these people think they are?!?

    Taken from here…

The real problem in my eyes is that they’re admitting that guns are the problem and we don’t already have these laws.

Indiana State Rifle and Pistol Association put out a call to action last evening.

I've already e-mailed this morning and will be calling the Indy and D.C. offices after 0900.

He took an oath to uphold the Constitution. That overrides a spread sheet of for and against handed to him by a staffer. If Young doesn't understand that, then he is lost and must go.

I wonder if the 10 : 1 number is due to a well organized Demanding Mommies Op?

I don’t do the ‘write your congressman’ thing well, but thank you for the encouragement to do so.

Here’s the link for his email for those who haven’t yet…

I follow several pro 2A youtube channels and I listed to Guns & Gadgets this morning. When he listed off the rino's that supported the procedural vote on the bill mr youngs name came up. I was glad I was alone in my truck, my language would have made a sailor blush. When I got to work I sent him an email expressing my displeasure on his support of this bill and explained that if he continued to support the issue I would be supporting his opponent the next election.

Took the time during first break to call Senator Young's Washington DC and Indianapolis offices.

Primary points were that the constitution is not negotiable, the second Amendment is absolutely not negotiable, and that he took an oath to defend the Constitution. Further while there are things which are clearly in the popularity contest realm for him as a sitting senator, an action which violates his oath is not!

The Washington call of course went to the voicemail. The Indianapolis Colt went to a nice young lady who did not seem to have been beaten down yet. Join me in making her day a busy one!

If Senator young wants to pretend that compliance with his oath is a popularity contest, then he needs to understand there is a significant number of his constituents who believe otherwise.

Ok everyone, your NUMBER ONE priority is contacting our senators and asking them to vote yes on the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.
This is a GIANT step forward for gun sense.
Contact Senators Young and Braun and DEMAND that they vote on the right side of history.
Young has said he will vote yes. He needs to hear so many THANK YOUs for finally supporting some gun sense legislation.
Braun has said he will vote no.
I've attached some talking points you may find useful
    "

Will attach their talking points as soon as I download them.

Link to the Anti's talking points!
    Thank you @rebase

I embedded the link in my e-mail to Senator Young, pointing out he was allowing himself to be manipulated by a well funded, well organized influence operation based upon false equivalencies, exaggerations, and out right lies.

On the radio this morning they said Young did not read the bill before voting because there was not enough time between presentation and the vote. (Well then don't vote for it).

Likely the reason for the rush this morning. Get a vote before anyone can find the easter eggs they have hidden in the text.
