Warning on this one. There's a reason that it's $299 with a $100 rebate. I handled one in a local gun shop a few weeks ago. To say the trigger is bad is a vast understatement. Like "design defect" bad. Went by the same shop yesterday, and it's still sitting there in the case for $249. I might buy it if they up the rebate to $249.

    Thanks for the warning.
That's insane. I hope someone comes out with an aftermarket trigger.

    Let's see...

    $249 - $100 rebate = $149
    Aftermarket trigger = $150ish
    Total investment = $300ish

Results = Obsolete 6+1 pocket 9mm with aftermarket parts

    What's a Taurus G3c or GX4 going for nowadays?

I don't know if the trigger is the same as in the original APX, but I didn't think it was that bad. Don't get me wrong, it's not good, but it's not design defect bad. Very spongy with a long reset, but to be honest I've felt worse triggers. I do agree that the gun itself is a poor choice, even at that price. When you can get guns like the P365 or Shield Plus that have the capacity for 10 or more rounds, a gun with anything under 10 rounds doesn't make a lot of sense, especially with a :poop: trigger.

Never thought I'd see a Taurus recommendation over a Beretta.
Shows that Taurus has stepped up it's quality.

Well, the APX isn't really a Beretta in my book. It's Beretta's attempt to make a Glock.

    Beretta pistols have hammers.
I seen on the APX A1 full size the trigger is around 6lbs and much better. Looks like they changed the trigger on the micro APX A1. Wonder who thought that was a good idea?

I've seen this as low is about $220 (Rural King I think?)

I was going to go for it until I searched up some reviews. A sizeable amount of poor reviews that seem credible. I was tempted but passed. Even the gun rag magazines didn't have the greatest reviews and they never hate a gun.

I was about to pull the trigger on the one I posted above as a gift gun. Thanks to @Route 45 I didn't.
