    Woah, woah, woah. Easy now. That's my family name you're so quick to besmirch. I'm a Merriam.

    It's my maternal family name. Yes it goes back directly to the founding of Merriam-Webster. There's a family log my Aunt has that tracks it all the way back to an officer on the Mayflower.

    Every year for Christmas my Grandma would give all the kids dictionaries. True story.

    But good joke.
