    We've had a number of plain old copy-n-paste of the entire articles again lately.
    Yep. summarize the article, maybe post a key paragraph or two you find interesting, but we need to leave the bulk of the article on the source site and paste the link for us to read it there.

    You can sometimes get around the paywall by searching for a web archive of the particular link…
    There are a lot of tricks, but they all only work on some sites and not others. Depends how they configure their paywall.

    Or requiring you to sell your email identity soul to belong.
    That's what "throw away" or "spam only" email addresses are for. Just sign up with a free email address you never use. You may have to open it once to "confirm access".

    I sometimes back out of a site, then click the link again and quickly push the escape key. It defeats about half of them. Not worth more effort than that to me. I still have a stack of books to read.
