F-35 Lightning II guys: If our fleet wasn't grounded we'd shoot it down... with F-22s providing air cover and F-16CJ Wild Weasels on station... an E/F-18 Growlers jamming the balloon's Radar...
MQ-1 Predator guys: WE will smoke it with a Hellfire missile!
MQ-9 Reaper guys: We will Hellfire it, JDAM it, drop a Sensor Fused Weapon just for fun WHILE live-streaming it!!

Probably not a spy balloon, just dumping the new batch of virus Fauci made. The fact we are doing nothing shows how Biden has his priorities. Maybe China said let’s see how long it takes Biden to shoot it down. They are probably in shock he is still eating his ice cream cone. Gee what else can we send over?
My money is on observing it and eventually collecting it, thereby providing more information about their capabilities than whatever it is they collected.
But hey, that's just too rational and apparently rationality is out of style, at least when when pot shots at a dim-bulb president can be had.

We will have to get a contract out to a balloon research firm.
Then a contract for different weapons systems for anti balloon operations.
Another contract for testing systems.
Better get another contract to a “think tank” in order to interpret testing and integration to the armed forces.
Another contract to buy the selected system.
Contract to train the Military on the new system.
Contract for spare parts and maintenance.
Contract for future anti balloon operations.
