    These are 1"x1-3/4"x5-1/8" blocks.
The colors are only representative and the pattern is concealed inside.
These were test blocks and aren't up to standard because of the low temps.

    Can you cast them inside?
No sir. The fumes are extremely toxic, especially to the fur kids. I won't expose anyone to the hazards of casting.
The fumes linger for days. My shop still has the strong smell from casting yesterday.
The stuff is safe, once it's cured.
When the temps are higher, it only takes a short time to get it to gel, which sets the pattern.
I had all of my warming equipment set up, but it was just too cold.

Will liquid diamonds, alumilite or total boat not get you what you are wanting?
Those are different resins (epoxy and urethane), and although they would get similar results, they still have toxicity to a degree.
Urethanes require a pressure vessel and dislike moisture of any kind, including humidity.

There are epoxies with zero VOC's, and a price to match. They are even certified for continuous food contact.
I have some on a watch list, and will get some eventually.

Epoxies and urethanes also have a lower shore hardness.
