    Well got my doorknob changed, looks like the next time I’ll have to replace the whole mechanism the knob stub is getting bent and crushed. I’ve got three whole mech’s left. Hope that will get me through 2023, we’ll see.

    If we are downstairs we can stop them, but when we are both upstairs they (the male) just keeps chomping the knob. He’ll “out“ if he sees me at the top of the stairs but if he just hears me he’ll keep on the bite. That’s a two sided coin in training.

    depends how thick it is
    It’s a typical 55 gallon metal drum, I buy them to store feed in thier the kind that come with a lid and locking band around the top. Pretty stout. But they keep the mice out of expensive feed mix. Guess I can just try maybe out in a field, don’t want a rik o shay hitting me or a cow or the barn.
