I remember when I was living up in Lafayette in the early 80's and I came home to Indy to house sit for my parents when they went to Florida. Called up a buddy to see what was going on and he mentioned some band playing at a local bar. He said, "It's some band called "Head East". Ever heard of them?" I was like, "Hell yeah!" It was a great show in a very small venue.
Head East produced some great tunes! :rockwoot:I remember rocking to they all through high school.
Years later I stumbled on the origin of the bands name...
Baxter Forrest Twilight: "We have to have an EMERGENCY band meeting!"

    I wouldn't call this a "better" cover.

However, when the Pointer Sisters did "Slow Hand", it was suggestive.

When Conway Twitty covered it, it was just dirty.

I don’t think I can say that I like this cover better than the original, but I can say that if I hadn’t stumbled across it on YouTube I would’ve never imagined it:

I’m not much of a concert goer but I did see Journey while I was at Indiana University B-ton many moons ago. Great concert except that I got mono somehow.
