Shop at the Beech Grove Wal Mart at Emerson and 465, I don’t stop and shop there much anymore, but before 465 became crazy, I would stop on my way home from work commuting back up to Fishers, and it looked like Dodge City to me.
Google “People at Wal Mart” and think of the folks you see on the link OC.

i was banned from that wallyworld for cc'ing.

what was funny the couple that reported me was carrying too.

i did get a chance to school a bg cop on state law regarding asking me about my ltch status....it was a total hoot!

dude, we gotta get a more detailed story than that.
sorry for the delay. i had to make sure my bosses have a rotten vacation/christmas

i was shopping at the bg wallyworld and noticed a couple (both armed) were following me around the store. they would split up and appear at opposite ends if the aisles i was on. after about 20 mins or so a bg officer nonchalantly approaches me and starts making small talk "how are you, it's a nice day, shop here often?" kind of bs.

the couple was standing off to the side trying to appear as if they weren't paying attention.

i told the officer "i'm good. it is a beautiful day" i never answered if i shop ther often. when he realized i smelled the bs he asked if i was armed. i asked him why. he asked me again. i asked him again.

he asked me if i had a ltch and i again asked him why. he said i can see you're carry something and i asked him if i was under suspicion of a crime. he said no.

i asked him if i was being detained pending an official investigation. he said no. i informed him under indiana law i did not have to answer any questions about being armed or the status of my ltch. he changed a few colors and his jaw dropped.

he asked me again if i had a ltch and i asked him again if i was under investigation or being detained. he said no and i again informed him of indiana statute.

the female half if the couple started guffing and puffing and the other female half dripped his heas. the "officer" kind if sputtered and mumble like he had nothing else so i walked away.

some wm manager runs up and tells the officer she wants me gone. he told herhe had no reason to stop me unless she was willing to trespass me. she then told me i was banned from the store and trespassed and not welcome in her store again.

i laughed and left my very full cart setting in the middle if the aisle. the "officer" then escorted me out of the store. iasked him to follow me to my car because i didn't feel safe because the two shoppers made me feel uncomfortable. he laughed and then tried to apologize. i told him he should apologize to the town that pays him because he was poorly trained and to have a better day

I'm wondering why the heck the couple would have called the cop? If they were armed, why try to have someone else armed F'd with? Not understanding that at all... :dunno:

i'd love to hook up with you guys. let me know your availability.

i'm willing to do a road trip depending on the weather.

    Very well could be.

You could have asked the manager and the officer if the couple was being trespassed.
And then brought up the race thing being pretty obvious.

But, on the other hand, when being trespassed, it's not a good idea to hang around and argue.
yeah. i was starting to draw the attention of other people. that defeats the whole purpose of concealed carry. plus it is very easy to catch a disorderly conduct charge when you've already pissed of the cops

Couple of thoughts here. First the couple flanks the Grillak through out the store? Follows him around store Why? BIG CLUE here A Handgun does not empower you with police powers. Nor does it create an open invitation to profile.

So why does mr and mrs Elitist call local Leo? Because they saw some one that did not fit their vision of someone that should be allowed to exercise the same rights that they do.

Would like to think I am wrong in my interpretation of their actions, but I would not be surprised to be correct.

Yeah, to me it's perplexing. In this day and age, I certainly don't care about someone's skin color. A big black guy carrying a gun makes me feel all warm and fuzzy that there's another person around with some F'n sense. I feel that way for anyone I know is carrying.

Exactly from my experiences people that carry are on average more respectful, level headed, and have more in common with my beliefs and viewpoints. Florida man excluded of course.
