Deputy Marshal was shot in face Thursday A.M. when he encountered an armed subject and his girlfriend in Waterloo, IN. Officer survived being shot in face, the shooter was killed by SWAT and the girlfriend was critically wounded.

Officer has been upgraded to serious condition.
