The cover he is wearing on the left is kind of shaped like the WMs blues cover. He doesn't look girly.

Well, yeah, but he's smoking. Everyone knows that smoking makes you look older, more mature, and more manly. Unless you're a woman. Than it makes you look sophisticated, sexy, and thinner. It used to say so right on the packs until the stupid government changed it to something about birth weight and lung cancer.

Tradition, or just the way things were most recently done? Looks to me like you could easily frame it as a return to tradition and the helipad hat as the abomination.

I think the color combined with the shape must make a difference. The white version doesn't look as warlike the dark one in the smaller hat.

I think you're on to something. In looking at those older pictures, there's definitely something else about those darker versions that mitigates my initial impression.

the current hat is has been worn forever, the left hates the conservative military. obama laughing at the military. this is just another example, ive been told by a servicemen that our government makes it public when and where certain units will be deployed, meaning what units will go over to afghanistan, when they will be arriving, etc. this screws them of course. just more crap from the top. this man has got to go.

Any denial that the Obama administration has nothing to do with the decisions of the military to fire (or allow to retire) flag rank officers that are critical, put females in combat roles, allow open homosexuals, wear girly hats , etc. should be accepted as fact immediately...

Since the socialist bastard has never even run a lemonade stand successfully, the idea of him successfully finding a cure for cancer is laughable. Since he routinely lies to the American public on national television, and causes his subordinates to lie to the public as well, and with his demonstrated antipathy toward the military in general, I will take the Marine Corps' statement with a shaker of salt, thanks.

I would never in a hundred years wear that stupid cover. They would have to NJP me if I was still in. Though I did hear that they were only going to change the female cover to the new style. Anybody hear this as well? A buddy of mine who's still in told me this.
