I kinda look at it this way: ACA is Obama's legacy. If it is going to be the thing that you are remembered by, wouldn't you do everything in your power to make sure it goes off without a hitch? I mean, he's had almost 3 years to make this thing work.

It's a disaster and his supporters are furious. Even the folks who give him a pass on most things think he's done a terrible job.

In 2008, I thought he was a better choice than McCain. By 2009, I'd seen enough to know he was just another party hack. Still better than McCain, but not by much.

After his gun seizure proposals and now Obamadoesn'tCare, he'll go down in history as a crappy president.

The US Naval Academy went to male and female midshipmen wearing the same style cover about a year ago. The porposed covers for the Marines look vaguely reminiscent of the covers worn by Marines 100 years ago.

Officers pay for their own uniforms IIRC.

Bobo the Clown signed a directive to design and implement more "unisex" uniforms. The navy has them and they are horrible. Several years ago, the military started handing out flight suits that were wider in the bottoms. These were initially designed as a "woman only" issue but, I know several males that given these as uniform wear.

id also like to point out, it is obvious who has and has not worn the uniform of our country. If you had worn it and served, you'd know it's more than just a "cover". It is part of your uniform, a symbol of your service and dedication. You show your pride and commitment to the country, the service and your fellow service member in how you wear and maintain your uniform. To emasculate the male and, to some extent the female cover is unforgivable.

Go go to the New York post's website for a better idea of what this cover would look like with a dress uniform. The female pictured looks nothing more than a Salvation Army bell ringer.

Obama is responsible for appointing who he appoints. Instead of appointing someone competent, he appointed the HBIC of HHS, perhaps because of ideology, perhaps because of loyalty, or perhaps because of political correctness. But obviously not because of competence.
