THE EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLES FOR 2022 PER DNR DUE TO LACK OF MANPOWER.

AFTER 2 YEARS OF CANCELLATION DUE TO COVID-19 WE ARE BACK!!!
    SATURDAY, JULY 30, 2022

For those new to this event here is a link to our past events.
The 7th annual event is here.
The 6th annual event is here.
The 5th annual event is here and it has links to all the prior years in post 1.

    ---
So here is what we need to talk about right now.

    1) Can you volunteer?
    - We need firearms instructors to teach the kids (we can supply you with a .22lr longgun/pistol and ammo if needed)
    - We need skeet/trap operators and instructors (firearms and ammo provided by DNR)
    - We need safety range officers to oversee each of the areas (4 to 5 ranges)

    Optional helpers
    - We need photographers
    - We need ammo runners (to take ammo to the various benches)
    - We need greeters
    - We need weapons to display in the tent
-We need reloaders to do dummy reloading rounds with the kids

    ---
You can't volunteer (in person) but want to help?

The past 7 years INGO member have been kind and generous in donating ammo (.22lr mainly) for this event.
Once again we need donations to make this even possible.
    - .22lr ammo mainly
    - .223 and 7.62x39 for the single 'big rifles bench'
(does not matter if you are not in NWI we have members that go all over the state and can bring back your ammo donation)
    - money donations for t-shirts for the volunteers (d.kaufman is handling this for us this year)
    - plywood/money donations for the range itself
    - reloading supplies (.223 cases and .223 bullets) for kids to take home as souvenirs after the reloading demo

    ---

I have 6,500 rounds of .22lr donated by @Mark106. Did you count that already?

Where do you want this dropped off?

Edit: not volunteering at this time.

I have 1,290 .223 donations from Indy pre-covid. Not sure if they made the official inventory, so check your notes.

I'm in. Since I'm new to this, I will defer to the more experienced members. If you need me to state a preference, put me on the 50 yd range please. I'm also an experienced reloader if you need any help there.

In, I normally RO on the 50.

When I attempted to sign in @DNR it rejected me because they have my e mail wrong from the old paper form. I e mailed them and hope they will correct it.

I sent an email to the DNR volunteer program:

    --------
I have been told I need to complete a CERVIS registration form to volunteer at an event being held on DNR property.

Can I get a link to the privacy policy that applies to the info submitted on this form?

Will this information be collated with other information the state has about me?

I was told there is a background check involved.

    Who performs this check?

Who has access to the information reported by the background check?

What information is looked at? "Background check" is vague as there are many types.

    Why is this necessary?
    -------

I'll post the response when I get it.
