Main purpose is supposed to be for 4H for granddaughter. Of course the wife is an animal hoarder, so we get ending up with more. :):

I hate to say it, but jedi is right. The outdoor dogs wouldn't know what to do in the house. They are very independent. They bond with their flock and hate leaving them, or when their goats are taken from them.
That’s a fact guardian dogs HATE to be separated from their charges. My male sleeps in the pig pile every night lol female prefers an independent sleeping arrangement she is far more protective of the flock.

Took the kid to his 1st Shrine Circus (0 detection equipment BTW). He chose to ride the elephant.

    1 elephant
    6 riders
    2 laps
    = $150
So, with 2 elephants, $300 every 4 minutes.

    2 Camels are 2 seaters for $10
    8 ponies at $10

Bet their feed bill is pretty hefty. 20221126_102830.jpg

Looks like they eat 100-400lbs a day. So, from 2 to maybe 8 bales of hay a day, plus whatever grain they are fed. I think we paid around $6 a bale this year for hay.

Whew, hope they were big and heavy. Dad bought straw for $3 a bail this year. Hay is next year.

Back from the Twilight parade. Big guy was staged behind Pack 998, so a visit was in order. Dad in walking with me was a CPD officer. Plenty of police presence at these things, but still nice to know 2 dads with the Pack were carrying.
I'm chilled and got my steps in. A little Buffalo Trace working to warm the soul.
