@actaeon277, Menard's will take your fluorescent bulbs. I dropped off many there during recent home clean up. No charge. The service counter person had to ask a manager but that only took a minute. This was at the Merrillville store.

And silly me, I was just at Menards today for another light string.

Feels just as cold as the 17, though. I was out chasing Daisy down. She doesn't see or hear very well, so when she wanders to the far corners of the yard, I have to go and corral her back in.
