We had to let our dog Molly go today. The cancer was very aggressive. I am guessing it took less than 5 weeks. Thankfully, I got to enjoy her company for 16 days after her surgery to remove her tumor, 13 of those she was pretty much her normal self.
Here we were when I picked her up after surgery. I thought I was going to lose her that day.

Thanks everyone. I'm really thankful for the time I had with her. We only adopted her last year, or I should say she adopted me. :): My wife was a little jealous at first, since she was supposed to be her dog. She'll always have a place in my heart.

And yes, the pain is gone, thankfully.

My condolences. I like dogs more than most people. I’m also not a crier. But I bawled like a baby when we put our pug Jake down a few years ago. Doggos are special family!

    Menards jingle says it all!

You waste money, you waste good money, when you shop Menards!

I hate to say it but I buy a lot at Menards. I pick up things on the way to a job because it's only a block from my house.

I prefer Home Depot but it is 5 miles in the wrong direction half the time.

And Happy Saturday morning to Hawkeye and everyone out in INGO land. Let the fireworks continue.
Funny you mention fireworks... Most years, I've been hearing them for about a week or so. This year I really haven't heard any. Maybe one or two sets of them going off.
