And the cat came back the very next day...

Ok it was more like 5 or 6, but who's counting. Certainly not my anxiety or anything.

He has a bloody, raw nose and he's feeling a little skinny but otherwise seems alright. Now off to the vet in a bit for a checkup and to see about getting him fixed finally.

Omg I was going to sing that song, but I didn't think you'd recognize it.

Ok, I watched the cat came back video. Now the guy I work with now is walking around mumbling it, and I felt bad nobody on YouTube gave her a thumbs up for her singing video, so I did. I think I am now a better person for all of this....

That's good to hear. I once had a cat disappear for two weeks and had assumed the worst. Then one day, she came wandering back into the house, looking skinny and very hungry but in good shape overall. I figured she got locked in a garage or shed somewhere nearby.

My neighbors were all keeping an eye out for me. The one to my east finally saw him this morning before 6:30 walking along their side of the fence and then he squeezed behind the fence post to get into my back yard and she called me. She got some cat kibble from one of the neighbors to the west a couple houses down who also mentioned seeing some coyotes in her yard the other night. When I got home she brought over a thing of wet cat food and told me she hadn't seen him again. I walked around the yard doing the "pstpst kitty kitty" and as I walked past the wood pile, he started meowing and I found him under the tarp.
