I do believe God gives us grand-children to refresh us old folks' souls. It's not often enough in this modern world that we glimpse pure innocence and joy, if only for a fleeting second. It does my heart good.

She hardly knew me because of covid 8 months ago.

Ugh...long day at work. 52 phone calls and 15 walk-ins. Couldn't get a damn thing accomplished.
Really sucks since it's a short week this week and next. Compound that with parts are getting harder and harder to get I'm telling customers once again it'll be 3-4 weeks before I get to their vehicle

That would have been the humane thing to do. Instead he left him there suffering.

Not to mention, HE CAME BACK.

Well, in this case he only went on to help destroy almost all of the Jedi and begin an era of horror, so what's the big deal?

Start changing a toilet around 6.
Almost done, but it's higher up, so I need a new part to get the water from the valve to the tank.
Go get the part.
Install it.
Finish toilet.
Everything is okay.
EXCEPT the valve is slow dripping.
Used a wrench to tighten it against the seat (of the valve).
Still drips.

How I have to change the valve tomorrow.
Ugh.

Now if I can remember the water shutoff to the house.
I think... garage?

Get a bigger yard.

Peeing outside is one of the greatest gifts to man that the creator has given us. A combination of freedom and a sweet release, the ability to mark your territory and also intimidate the dogs. Peeing in the yard is one of the ultimate freedoms afforded man.

Maybe. But I've not seen too many things fix themselves.
Plus, I torqued it a bit with a wrench, to seat it.
Which means, if for some reason I need to shut it, I won't be able to by hand.

It’s called job security!

Always, always, always when dealing with f... plumbing change everything out. Remove everything till you just have the bare pipe and add new values, fittings etc.

jedi hates plumbing and jedi has learned the hard way that once you disrupt the old connections leaks will occur when replacing just the toilet or the sink faucet.
