    "In Jail" means that he's purchased 2, and the paperwork has been submitted to the ATF, and is now awaiting approval from the ATF.
    How long does the ATF approval take? I hope the shop holding the paid-for suppressor is solvent! I'd hate to drop a grand and have the shop f=go out of business waiting for a .gov agency to approve...

    How long does the ATF approval take? I hope the shop holding the paid-for suppressor is solvent! I'd hate to drop a grand and have the shop f=go out of business waiting for a .gov agency to approve...
    My last one took 3 months to approve, then the stamp got lost in the mail or something because it took almost 2 months to get from Texas to Huntington. They usually come pretty oily from the factory, just like most other gun parts that might rust.

    3 month's on a form 4? that's pretty awesome, 6-9 is more typical. good friend has been waiting on a form 4 MG since feb 2020
