    Well, partially what Jedi said.
    Ammo always seems to be there.
    Also, what was mentioned previously. Better reach and flatter trajectory than .22.
    And partially, we'll it's a new gun. Duh! :)


    Course, then I'd need an optic... and a couple hundred dollars of ammo

    They shoot great, cheap to feed, easy to find ammo. Hardest thing I find is seeing your impacts, even on splatter targets the hole is so small it’s near impossible to see. I’ve shot 2” groups at 200yds at winimac with my 17. It’s more fun shooting at steel IMO just because you get feedback instead of trying to see your hit on a target. 2300+FPS velocity will dance an 8” plate pretty good even with a pencil tip projectile.
