Been looking at a Savage B-17 in 17 HMR.

Every time I go, they seem to have 17 HMR in stock.
But I already have a buttload of .22s.

So I want to buy it, but... do I really need a small caliber like that?
    Ugh.

Act, there's a lot of difference in the HMR besides the size. You may already know, but it's a magnum round that's a lot louder than your 22's. At least twice the energy also. Great for small varmints at distance. Flat shooting out to 150 yards.

But I gotta ask, does need ever really enter into it? I say go for it!

    :) .

Buy it. I love my 17hmr. Let me know where it’s in stock. Lol. Totally different than a 22. Much more flat and just fun to shoot.

Blythes in Griffith had two B-17s (Savage)
And quite a bit of ammo.
I've seen them a while. Which makes me think about adding one to my collection.
And I should have known, you guys would make that more difficult to say "no".

IBTO, why are you interested in a 17hmr? Perhaps I'm missing out? :dunno:

Speaking of OT, we're breaking in a "new" guy, so the shop will be back to 100 percent soon.
Right now I'm loving this 48-56 hour weeks.
Be even better when he's on shift by himself.
