Thanks. I will be honest about my situation, and if they say I have to stay, I'll find a way.

This conversation is jogging my memory now. If you make it into the jury box, I recall that we were asked if there was any reason why we could not discharge our duty as jurors. That is the opportunity to explain your situation. If you stay, then they start probing your life experiences and views. I imagine each judge runs their courtroom somewhat differently but that was my experience.

Ive had to show for jury duty 3 times. I told them one time, when asked if I could be impartial, "I believe the judicial system is corrupt and it's not innocent until proven guilty, but guilty till you prove your innocence", and I still got picked

Lmao most of these guys survive on a diet of pizza, donuts, fast food, and sometimes I suspect roadkill. Imagine trying to flush a wad of bacon dipped in axle grease, at least a dozen times a day.
