Sounds like what came installed was their "subscription" based office where you never own the software you just rent it yearly.

The download you bought was it their subscription based? Or does it say an actual product name. The concern with the download is that MS at some point in the future can just discontinue hosting that file/version and force you to buy their latest version since the software won't be available for download anymore.

jedi is still running MS Office 2000 via physcial disc for this exact reason.
Jedi is looking to get a virus I see.

    meh...

Still using MS Money (1998 edition) as well. It works just fine. No connections to internet it's just a digital checkbook vs paper. Never linked any banks to it.

Same with word and excel. Use them to write letters and track expenses. Again not linked to internet.

Don't scare jedi unless u have raccoons.

Exactly. I still run Office 2003 for my home stuff. That was the last version that used Visual Basic for Applications as its programming language as well so I can easily write code for it.

Just for kicks... I ran across this today. Would have been 56-57 years ago now. Lil' Snap all dressed up and looking cute. The school where my mom taught was putting on Mary Poppins. 3-4 year-old Snap did a guest appearance and sang "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious".

in order to combat all this snow, I propose we all go out and get some aerosol cans and each of us spray a few bottles into the air. If we can get enough people to do this, we should be able to turn Indiana into Florida. Also make sure to let your vehicle run a few minutes extra every morning to warm up. I'm told climate change is man made, so lets all work on making it warmer.

Did my part. Remote start FTW!

I cycle mine twice sometimes, if it's really cold, or if it takes me longer to wrap up. Just chipping in where I can.

I wish I could turn on the heated steering wheel on the pre-sets, but I havn't figured it out.
