Morning. Coffee is tasting good. I bought a box of assorted K-cups, and I'm finding my niche coffee preference--anything with vanilla or caramel or similar goopy stuff. I only sweeten it with a teaspoon of monkfruit. Green Mountain Caramel Vanilla Creme is the ****. I may have to buy a package.

To each his own. I prefer a plain dark roast myself. Readily available Folgers Black Silk is one of my favs.

I can't do black either. It goes down like battery acid. If I'm drinking plain coffee, it's a bit of monkfruit, a few drops of vanilla, and an ample dose of half and half. I don't like it real sweet, but it has to be real creamy and smooth.

    Tried to do black cofefe...

    Absolutely cannot do it.

Splash of a hazelnut coffee mate for me
Once you go black you don’t go back. Admittedly when I had my first cup of black I hated it and choked it down was bitter etc etc…… second cup all that was gone. Now I can’t handle cream/sugar at all.

Edit : not my favorite but for black coffee people this midnight roast from
Dunkin isn’t bad. On vacation in the dells so either Dunkin or Starbucks :puke:

Nope nope nope nope. Too much acid. It's like torture. (Then again, I do have serious acid reflux and am prone to esophageal ulcers.)

Speedway gas stations and Casey's have these new grinder coffee makers.
Speedway has any size cup for 1.59. I am becoming addicted to their espresso blend.

I refuse to spend $5 or more for a triple shot at Adama's.

I’m not an old man…… but I had a serious old man issue with the electronic ones they had at family express….. was annoyed I saw them in speedway just last week. all I wanted was a BLACK coffee I kept trying and hitting buttons after 3 attempts and same results (some creamy frothy looking drink) I left and got my coffee elsewhere. Lol :oldwise::oldwise::oldwise:

One of my favorite smells is the combination of brewing coffee and frying bacon. That said, I cannot stand the taste of coffee. As a teen, I tried it black and with cream and sugar. When I enlisted in the Navy, my recruiter offered me a cup of coffee. I told him that I never drink coffee. He said that I would be a coffee drinker in 6 months. At the end of the 4-year enlistment, I still had not touched it.
